About the treatment
Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells (usually porcelain) bonded to the front of teeth to improve colour, shape, size, and minor alignment issues—useful for discoloration that doesn’t respond to whitening, small chips, gaps, and slight crowding. At AVMSmiles, candidacy is confirmed with an exam and photos; we discuss shade/shape, show a preview (mock-up or digital), and proceed with minimal enamel reduction only if indicated. Impressions/scans are taken, temporaries are placed when needed, and your final porcelain veneers are tried, adjusted, and bonded—typically within 7–10 days. You can expect local anaesthesia for comfort, guidance on care (soft brush, non-abrasive toothpaste, night-guard if you grind), and regular reviews to maintain results. We also explain alternatives—whitening, bonding, or aligners—so you can choose the option that best fits your goals and bite.
